Arcade Fire "No Cars Go"

So today I awoke to find my car wouldn't start...which made for a "great" day. I've already been having problems with it overheating among other smaller problems. I've literally been working on it all day to try and fix the problem and have been stressing about posting a song. I'm not trying to throw a pity party by any means, for I am certainly not the only person who has every experienced car problems. But damnit they are annoying!

Car problems always seem to ground me in a way. You don't think about them when your shit is working...because, well it's working! But when it is not working you reflect on what it's like to have a car that works. And it really is something I think a lot of people, DEFINITELY INCLUDING MYSELF, take for granted.

So here's a nice little tune by a great Canadian band you might have heard of once or twice by the name of Arcade Fire. "No Cars Go" a song, I believe, is about a place where no machine or vehicle of any sort can travel to. A place that only exists in our minds. A place that exists "between the click of the light, and the start of a dream ".

I'm about to snooze out in this wonderful world where "no cars go" and enjoy it before I wake up where "all cars go" and where my car "certainly won't go".

PEACE!
